Fleck wins UND scholarship
The University of North Dakota Division of Continuing Education announced that Julie Fleck, Mandan, has won a $500 Gustafson Continuing Education Scholarship. Fleck is enrolled in UND’s online program for a master’s degree in instructional design and technology.
Ben and Ruth Gustafson dedicated their lives to higher education and left behind a legacy of learning. Ben, a native of Foxholm, served as superintendent of schools in several North Dakota communities and as professor of chemistry and director of Continuing Education through the early ’70s. Ruth’s dedication to education, the university, music and the arts was apparent throughout her life.
