Anderson receives bachelor degree
Michael Jay Claflin Anderson, of Mandan, received his degree from Creighton University, in Omaha, Neb., during a commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 19.
Anderson received a bachelors degree in business administration. Commencement took place at the D.J. Sokol Arena in the Wayne and Eileen Ryan Athletic Center on the Creighton University campus.
Special awards of recognition were also awarded to people and organizations making a positive difference in the Omaha community and around the country. Eileen and Wayne Ryan, Ph.D., BS’49, MS’51, received honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degrees. The St. Augustine Indian Mission and Mutual of Omaha both received the University’s Presidential Medallion.
