The city of Mandan has announced the application dates for the 2010 Storefront Improvement Program, which provides matching funds for exterior makeovers to commercial properties in the downtown area. The deadline for the three application rounds are May 3, Aug. 2 and Nov. 1.

Approved project applicants receive reimbursement not to exceed $10,000 for up to 50 percent of expenses for improvements. Funding for the program comes from sales tax collections.
