NISC makes donation
National Information Solutions Cooperative came together as a community and raised over $15,000 in donations for the Red Cross Haitian relief effort.
In just over three weeks, employees from NISCs Lake Saint Louis and Mandan locations raised $7,900. With a match from NISC of the same amount, a total of $15,800 will be donated to the Red Cross to aid Haitians impacted by the devastating earthquake last month.
“Hearing and seeing the vast devastation Haiti experienced from the Jan. 12 earthquake opened our hearts, and together we hope to help these people,” said Vern Dosch, NISCs President and CEO.
According to the Red Cross one month report, the global Red Cross network is responding on a massive scale. The international relief operation has involved more emergency response teams than any other single country disaster in Red Cross history.
