Students place in career development conference
University of Mary business students placed in 15 categories at the 2010 North Dakota State Career Development Conference, taking the top spot in eight, at the Feb. 20-21 event in Fargo.
Among the winning students were Stephanie Sandvick, of Mandan, who placed third in website design, and Shalayna Barth, of Glen Ullin, who took first in business law.
All told, 15 members of the University of Mary Delta Epsilon Chi chapter placed in one or more events category in the competition. As state qualifiers, they are eligible to compete in one of their winning categories at the International Career Development Conference, in Louisville, Ky, April 17 to 20.
DELTA is an organization designed to prepare students for successful business careers in marketing and management.
