Living a normal life in the face of debilitating disease

For the second year in a row, the patients of Dr. Little and Dr. Schmidt's Vision Source donated over $450 towards the annual Walk for MS. Little and Schmidt then wrote a matching check for $450. Lauren Little considers herself lucky.
Born and raised in Mandan, Little was working in 2007 as a third grade teacher in Las Vegas, Nev., when she started having bad headaches. Soon after that began, a small black spot appeared in her left eye, which wouldn’t go away.
Little was in Mandan for a family reunion at the time the spot appeared, so she went to her father, Dan Little, an eye doctor, to have the spot looked at. Continue…
