Head Starts hosts Family Literacy Night
The children and families of West River Head Start were all twisted up over its recent Family Literacy Night. There were five different literacy stations for the families to attend. These stations included letter twister, an environmental print scavenger hunt, an alphabet walk, a cozy corner to read with face painting and a puppet show from the local library with library information for families.
After the activities the children had lots of fun eating pizza picnic style and getting to read some free books that were offered.
