Students graduate from DSU
Dickinson State University held its first ever winter commencement exercises on Friday, Dec. 16.
Six students from Mandan were a part of DSU’s inaugural commencement and were presented with their degrees.
The following students received their diplomas: Nicole Baggenstoss, bachelor of science; Christina Biesecker, bachelor in education; Elisha Gratz, bachelor of science; Nicole Levi, bachelor in education, cum laude; Allison Stagl, bachelor of arts; AnnaLena Trondson, bachelor of arts.
The university graduated 150 students from 12 states and eight foreign countries. The commencement’s keynote address was given by Dr. D.C. Coston, president of Dickinson State University. Comments were also made by Dr. Terry Hjelmstad, member of the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education, and Mr. Todd Hall, member of the DSU Alumni Foundation.
