Students place at state debate
Three Mandan students placed at the state debate tournament, which was held on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 3 and 4.
Colten Stoltz took second place in the division III Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and Jennifer Tokach and Morghan Selzler were named semifinalists in the division III public forum debate.
The 99th annual North Dakota High School Activities Association Debate Tournament was held at Fargo South High School.
The top five teams are as follows – first, Fargo Davies; second, Fargo Shanley; third, Grand Forks Central; fourth, West Fargo; and fifth, Fargo South.
