Three accountants hired
Mahlum Goodhardt, PC, a locally owned certified accounting firm in Mandan, has hired three accountants.
DeeAnn Jahner has joined the tax department as a tax manager. Jahner specializes in individual and business taxation, as well as QuickBooks consulting, payroll preparation and quarterly tax reporting. Jahner is a graduate of Dickinson State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and has more than 15 years of public accounting experience. She previously worked as a senior tax associate for a regional accounting firm in Bismarck and Aberdeen, S.D., for 11 years.
Kristi Misek graduated from Jamestown College with a degree in accounting. She then obtained a master’s of forensic studies with an emphasis in accounting from Stevenson University. In 2008, Misek became a certified fraud examiner. She brings a wide variety of knowledge and experience to Mahlum Goodhardt in the areas of government auditing, public accounting and as a former college professor.
Jerry Kuhn joined Mahlum Goodhardt in 2011 as a staff accountant. He is the leader in the payroll department and is also a QuickBooks pro advisor. Kuhn earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting from Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D.
