Mandan FFA celebrates National FFA Week

National FFA Week was Feb. 21 to 24. During that time, the Mandan FFA Chapter awarded 30 students with an FFA degree.

The Discovery degree recipient was Cole Garman. This degree is given to a seventh or eighth grade student enrolled in agriculture education.

The Greenhand degree is the first of four degrees and is awarded to ninth graders or first year students enrolled in an agriculture class. Twenty-one students were eligible for their Greenhand degrees. The recipients were Casey Tangen, Adaer Halverson, Patrick Johnson, Codie Cahoon, Cullen Gress, Dalton Gussiaas, Stacia Hopfauf, Marcus Isaacs, Samantha Halstengard, Devon Comeau, Wyatt Thompson, Cainen Fredricks, Emily Bendish, Cody Wald, Audree Gifford, Courtney Kahl, Tanna Bahm, Kyler Pazdernik, Nicole Miller, Paige Fisher and Matt Vannett.

The Chapter degree is earned by students who demonstrate a role in their chapter’s growth and development. These students must have an active SAE program also. The degree recipients were Tanner Gress, Tessa Keller, Jessica Fleck, Hunter Kleinjan, Kaylyn Hopfauf, Maddie Boechler, Sydni Schmidt and Vannessa Gross.

The Chapter degree is earned by students who demonstrate a role in our chapter’s growth and development. These students must also have an active SAE program.
