Rowdy Ranchers 4-H club meet

The April meeting for the Rowdy Rancher 4-H Club was held April 1, at 5 p.m. in the St. Lawrence Church basement. The meeting was called to order by President Macey Isaacs followed by Grace Jochim and Kourtney Schaff leading the pledges.
Roll call question was, “What is your favorite season and why?” Twenty-nine out of 31 members were present at the meeting.
The Secretary’s report was read and approved. The Treasurer’s report was read and approved. The Leader’s report was read and approved.
Old business: Schedules for Creative Clay were discussed as well as information about club jackets. Members that were present tried on available jackets to ensure sizing is correct as well as information that will be put on the jackets.
New business: Discussion about a community service project. More discussion will be held at the next meeting. A committee was formed to help organize the project.
Demonstration and snacks were provided by Bailie VandenBurg. The demonstration was embroidery floss Easter eggs. The Cloverbuds went to the Flasher School to “plant” pinwheels for Pinwheels for Prevention.
The next meeting will be held May 13 at 5 p.m. in the St. Lawrence Church basement with the Hintz family in charge of demonstration and snacks.
