Business 101 workshop offered April 18
The Mandan Tomorrow – Economic Opportunity and Prosperity Committee is hosting its second in a series of 2013 business education workshops on Thursday, April 18. The committee is organizing the workshops as a means of providing assistance to existing businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs looking to start businesses.
The next session is titled “Business Start-Up 101.” Speakers will address traits of successful entrepreneurs and small business owners, business planning and feasibility, financing options, business structures and assistance programs. A panel of local small business owners will provide additional insights and answer questions about operating a business.
The session will be held at the new HIT, Inc. facility, at 2640 Sunset Drive. The free program runs from 5 to 9 p.m. and includes a light meal. Advance registration is required. Sign up by Monday, April 15, at cityofmandan.com under the “Meeting and Event Registration” tab or call 667-3485.
