Kupper donating funds for in-car camera systems
Kupper Chevrolet-Subaru & Bismarck Motor Company has made a donation to the North Dakota Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association for the purchase of DVR in-car cameras, monitors and display tables to be used as part of driver’s education training classes in Bismarck and Mandan schools.
The in-car camera systems are used to record teen driving experiences. The videos are then used in the classroom for activities such as simulated driving situations, situational awareness, movies, discussion and role-playing.
Mandan High School Principal Mark Andresen said, “The cameras allow students to gain valuable hands on experience that will help them become safer drivers once they are ready to get on the road.”
“We are so pleased to be able to assist driver education programs in the area with the important work of training safe drivers, ” said Bob Kupper, owner Kupper Chevrolet-Subaru & Bismarck Motor Company.
The camera systems will be used as part of the Driver Education Classes. The school will receive the equipment purchased with this funding at the annual North Dakota Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association Conference, slated to be held in April 2013.
