Course focuses on driving safely in winter
The North Dakota Safety Council is hosting a Slippery Slope driver safety course in Bismarck on Thursday, Jan. 9.
The course will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. in the council’s offices at 1640 Burnt Boat Drive in Bismarck.
Slippery Slope is designed to help drivers make good decisions when winter weather strikes by educating them on the top factors of winter crashes and how weather affects different types of roads.
By completing the course, attendees may be eligible for an insurance discount.

The cost is $45 for NDSC members, $50 for non-members and $35 for those 55 and older. Additional family members in the same household may take the same course for $25.
