Students excel at SkillsUSA Contest

Three Mandan students from the North Dakota State College of Science won a number of awards at the 40th annual North Dakota SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference, which was held by NDSCS on the Wahpeton campus this spring.

Curtis Kraft took first place in the diesel equipment technology category, Thomas Bement placed second in welding and Tyler McMurtrey took second place in motorcycle service technology.

NDSCS competed against Bismarck State College and Williston State College to take gold in 14 different categories with 38 students placing in the top three.
