The students at West River Head Start attended Ag Day at Open Road Honda on March 21. Students got to learn all about animals and different seeds as seen here in North Dakota. The students got to hold baby chicks and feel how fragile they are, and also got to watch a sheep being sheared as they found out that animals need haircuts just like us. At the end of the visit, the students got to feel different grains such as corn and wheat, and lastly learned about water pumps and fountains and found out how water can come from different sources.
