Discovery Day Camp Rescheduled
The Discovery Day Camp scheduled for Thursday, June 26, in New Salem, is rescheduled to Wednesday, July 23, 2014. The day camp will be held at the New Salem City Park (across the street from the auditorium) starting at 1 p.m. There will be a $5 pre-registration fee to cover the costs of supplies and a light snack. Livestock Showmanship Clinic Scheduled
The NDSU Extension Service in Grant and Morton County, along with Southwest Grain and CHS Nutrition, are sponsoring a Showmanship Clinic on Wednesday, July 9, at the Grant County Fairgrounds in Carson. The event will begin with a pizza supper at 5:30 p.m. MT. The presentations will begin at 6 p.m. Topics to be covered are: Quality Assurance, General Care, Nutrition and a “Questions from the Judge” session. Presenters will be from NDSU Extension, CHS Nutrition & Southwest Grain. Attendees are asked to RSVP by July 7, to: Kristine Koepplin, Animal Health & Nutrition Specialist, via email or phone.
