Buggies-n-Blues set for this weekend

A 6-7 BNB logo smallBuggies-n-Blues will be celebrating its 20th year in 2013, which will be taking place this Saturday and Sunday, June 8 and 9, in downtown Mandan.

The two-day event will include a Parade of Classics, a Saturday Night Dance, silent auctions, a Mandan Airport breakfast and the Classic Car Show along Main Street, among several other events taking place along Main Street and The Strip.

The Saturday Night Dance will be held at Dykshoorn Park, with live music taking place from 4 p.m. to midnight. Live music will be provided by opening band Stone Mountain Band and the featured band, The Front Fenders. Admission to the Saturday Night Dance is $5, and children 12 and under free. Those attending are asked to bring their own lawn chairs. Concession stands and a beer garden will also be available.

On Sunday, the Classic Car Show will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Main Street. Vehicles 1986 and older will be on display, in addition to specialty cars. Concessions, beer garden and live music will continue throughout the day.

The Mandan Airport will also hold a fly-in breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 9. For more information, call 330-2210 or go online to mandanairport.com.
