Leadership Bismarck-Mandan, the program credited with producing many of the community’s top leaders, held a graduation ceremony on May 15.

Among them were Mandan residents Vanessa Graham, Melissa Hammond, Jesse Sailer, Deb Larson and Cameo Skager, and Mandan native Eric Walth.

Graduates were presented certificates and heard comments from two classmates, Melissa Pinks and Gabe Schell, during the ceremony.

Graduates included individuals representing a variety of business and industry, all connected through their experiences over the course of the past seven months.

Bi-weekly “Issue Days” engaged the emerging leaders in business and community issues. Participants were exposed to local concerns within the categories of local issues and community characteristics, natural resources, economic development and agriculture, human services, law, military, arts and leisure, education, health, legislative and political involvement, media and faith, ethics and values.

Leadership Bismarck-Mandan is a program sponsored each year through the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce.
