Forum to discuss idea of making movies in N.D.

The public is invited to a film initiative banquet, which will be held on Wednesday, July 3, at Fort Lincoln, south of Mandan.

Several aspects of movie making will be discussed at the banquet. Some of the items will include sstablishing a North Dakota Family Friendly Film Industry & Commission, launching an International Badlands Film Festival focused on family friendly films, an International Badlands Screenwriting Conference and the possible production of “Young Four Eyes,” an eight-part mini-series in the style of “Downtown Abbey.”

This event will feature Rep. Kevin Cramer as emcee, Gov. Jack Dalrymple, Emmy award-winner Dr. Ted Baehr, and includes a panel discussion with Theodore Roosevelt Malloch, Clay Jenkinson, Christopher Williams of Princebury Productions, along with many other national experts. There will be live music, dinner and dancing.
