Approximately 50 students were involved in the campaign “Trick or Treat for Hunger” at Mandan High School on Oct. 16 and 22. Students involved in DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, SADD, and Student Council, along with MHS Principal Mr. Andresen, went door-to-door collecting items to go to AID Inc. in Mandan. The first night collection was 969 cans, and 1,598 cans were collected the second night, for a grand total of 2,567 cans that will be donated.

In November, FCCLA will host a campaign to collect teenage clothes and personal hygiene items to donate to Carrie’s Kids. For more information or to donate, contact Kayla Kakela at 751-6501 or kayla.kakela@msd1.org
