Load restrictions placed in the southwest region of the state
Effective Tuesday, March 5, load restrictions were implemented on highways south of I-94 and west of the Missouri River.
All other previously implemented restrictions will remain in effect.
Traditionally, seasonal load restrictions are first implemented in the southwestern portion of the state and continue north and east as the spring season progresses.
Restrictions are lifted when roadbeds have stabilized enough to carry normal traffic. Seasonal load restriction information is available by dialing 511 or subscribing to email or text message updates by going to dot.nd.gov.
