Man arrested for trespassing

At 11:31 p.m. March 30, Mandan police officers were called to a residence in the 1100 block of 19th Street S.E. for a complaint of a stranger who had entered the caller’s residence uninvited. The occupants of the residence who placed the called had moved into the basement until the officers arrived.

When the officers arrived, they found Joshua James Quam, 29, in the residence sitting on a couch in the living room. He was placed under arrest for criminal trespassing and taken into custody without incident, said Mandan Police Detective Sergeant Jay Gruebele. From there, Quam was then transported to the Morton County Jail.
