Motion Dance Team members attend NDA Camp

Several members of the Mandan Middle School Motion Dance Team attended the National Dance Alliance Camp held at the University of Mary on July 19 to 21 with dance teams from around the state and the team received numerous awards.

The Motion’s team routine received a Blue Superior Ribbon, and the team received the “Most Improved” Award on Day 2 and a Spirit Stick on Day 3. The team also received the Technical Growth Award during the Final Awards Ceremony as voted on by NDA staff. Eighth grader Sabrina Matthews received the All American Award.

Individual Awards include: Superior Showmanship, Sabrina Matthews; Spirit Award, Kelci Yauney; Pay It Forward Award, Sabrina Matthews, Kelci Yauneyand Maggie Hatzenbuhler; Team Leader Award, Sabrina Matthews; All American Nominee, Sabrina Matthews.
