A string of vehicle break-ins has caused frustration for citizens of Mandan
For the past week, the Mandan Police Department has taken several reports of vehicles being entered, and in one case, a car window being broken. None of the vehicles reported showed signs of force entry.
In some cases, the vehicles were rummaged through, but were not missing any items. However, in several incidents, various personal belongings were stolen, including a GPS, an iPod, an iPhone, sunglasses and a backpack. In one particular case, a woman’s god and diamond ring was taken from inside the center console of their vehicle.
In light of these incidents, the Mandan Police Department is urging citizens to make sure they always lock their vehicles, and not to leave expensive items inside them.
If anyone has any information on these cases, please contact the Mandan Police Department at 701-667-3250.
