The Mandan High School FBLA Chapter completed a community service project to help the children of Pride Inc. Pride is a nonprofit organization aimed to help children and adults as a visionary leader in pioneering innovative strategies and approaches to maximize personal growth and potential of the people it serves. For the community service project, donations were given throughout the community as well as other small projects to raise money.

Over $1,000 was raised and used to assist the Pride Inc. children. The following items were purchased for the children: toys, winter clothing, and sporting activities. Members of the FBLA Chapter were involved by getting together and wrapping all of the presents and surprised the children on Dec. 30 with the gifts.

The FBLA would like to thank the Bismarck Civic Center, Mandan Central Market, and local business within our community that assisted the project.
