July 10 – Discovery Day Camp Mandan, Eagles Park, 1-4 p.m.
July 10 – Morton County Weed Board, Lewis and Clark River Boat, 5:30 p.m.
July 14 – Morton County Variety Plot Tour, Gietzen Plot, north of Glen Ullin on Hwy no. 49, at 6:30 p.m.

Discovery Day Camp-Mandan
Please join us for an exciting time filled with hands-on activities related to wildlife, farm foods, nutrition and gardening. These Discovery Camps will be held at two locations: Eagles Park, Mandan on July 10, and the New Salem City Park on Main Street, New Salem, on July 23. Each camp will be held from 1-4 p.m. A snack will be provided. The camp is for children ages eight to 12, third to sixth graders. Pre-registration for the July 10, Mandan Discovery Camp is July 7 and July 23. New Salem Discovery Camp is July 16. The fee for the camp is $5, to cover supplies and the snack.

Dickinson Research Extension Field Day
The Dickinson Research Extension Center will be holding a Field Day on Wednesday, July 9, beginning at 8:15 a.m., MST. The event will begin at 8:45 a.m., with a welcome from Dickinson Research Extension Director Kris Ringwall. Numerous professionals from NDSU will be on hand presenting on topics such as: wheat and barley varieties and pea and lentil varieties. Dickinson Research Extension Agronomist, Patrick Carr will present on Tillage systems and soil health. Along with John Nowatski, NDSU, Ag. Machine Specialist will speak on unmanned aerial systems.
