Mandan surveying people from other cities about community impressions
A committee of Mandan business leaders and citizens is asking residents from other cities to share their opinions and view of Mandan via a brief, online survey. The Mandan Tomorrow – Leadership, Pride and Image Committee wants to determine if perceptions of Mandan are improving with community growth and progress. The committee is also striving to measure the effectiveness of community marketing and outreach activities.
The Leadership, Pride and Image Committee is helping to implement a strategic vision plan for Mandan. The committee is in the third year of executing a “Great Things: Made in Mandan” community marketing campaign to tout Mandan as a viable and attractive place for businesses, residents and visitors.
The committee is monitoring external impressions of Mandan. Committee members and other community leaders will use information gathered through the survey to continually address concerns and capitalize on opportunities to improve Mandan as a place to live, to do business and to visit.
The survey is available online at surveymonkey.com/s/mandanperceptions. A link is also posted at cityofmandan.com. The survey closes Wednesday, July 10.
