A release from the Mandan Police Department stated on Saturday, Sept. 14, First National Pawn was the victim of a burglary. At this time it appears the only items taken were a Gretsch guitar and a paint ball gun.

Around 3:39 a.m. two males, both thin to medium build, broke the glass on the back door. One was wearing a flannel long sleeved shirt and a dark colored knitted beanie. The second suspect was wearing a short sleeved dark colored T-shirt, and camouflaged “boonie” style hat. Both suspects had their faces covered with bandanas.

Also on Saturday, a woman reported she and a second woman, had been assaulted at a local business around 5 p.m.

The report stated, “The woman told officers while shopping she had been grabbed in the buttocks by a young male. When she yelled at the male, he ran. The woman was able to point out the suspect to store employees.”

A juvenile male was cited for sexual assault and released to a parent, not before admitting to the officer he just wanted to “raise hell”.
