Rowdy Ranchers hold May meeting

The May meeting for the Rowdy Rancher 4-H Club was held May 14 in the St. Lawrence Church basement. The meeting was called to order by President Macey Isaacs, followed by Secora Schmidt and Kourtney Schaff leading the pledges.

Roll call question was, “What is one thing you did for your mom for Mother’s Day?” Twenty-nine out of 31 members were present at the meeting.

The Secretary’s report was read and approved. The Treasurer’s report was read and approved. The Leader’s report was read and approved.

Old business: Creative Clay projects were handed out. The club jackets were presented to each member and a group photo with both leaders was taken. More discussion was held on the gift basket for a family in the community. The committee will be meeting before the next meeting.

New business: Discussion was held whether or not to have a float for the Flasher Summerfest Parade. A motion was made, discussed, and approved to participate in the parade. More discussion will be held at the next meeting regarding the theme and design.

A motion was made and accepted to adjourn the meeting.

Presentation and snacks were provided by the Hintz family. The presentation was rope art vases. The Cloverbuds painted ceramic rain boots.

The next meeting will be held June 10 at 5 p.m. in the St. Lawrence Church basement with the Isaacs family in charge of presentation and snacks.
