Modified Tour dates set
The six cooperating tracks that make up the Dakota Classic Modified Tour have released their dates and locations for the 24th annual series.
This year Jamestown Speedway, which was one of the original tour tracks in 1990 when the series was created, has been added to the series, eliminating the doubleheader at one track that has been a staple of the tour for many years. Once again, the series will feature IMCA Modifieds and IMCA Stock Cars.
The six-night series will start on Saturday, July 6, at Jamestown Speedway. Tour director John Gartner said the track will be leased to him as a private promotion.
The tour will conclude in Mandan at the Dacotah Speedway on Thursday, July 11. Other tour stops include July 7 at the Minot Nodak Speedway, July 8 at the Estevan Motor Speedway in Estevan, Saskatchewan, July 9 at the Williston Basin Speedway and July 10 at the Dickinson Southwest Speedway.
