Zach Scott picked up a win in relief as the Mandan Chiefs split an American Legion baseball doubleheader on Tuesday.
Mandan took a 10-1 victory with Logan McDowall and Alex Weiand knocking in two runs apiece. Garrett Murphy, Scott and Ty Leingang split the pitching duties.
Trenten Hove went the distance to pick up a 5-4 Williston victory. He surrendered six hits, walked two and struck out six.
The doubleheader did not count in the statewide Legion standings.
